My name is Sam Goble. I have been playing golf since I was twelve years old. Like many people I love the game. I started to become a student of the game when I was about 17. The competitive part of me wanted to learn everything I could to become better. I am still a student of the game today, and continue to study and work on my game to get to the highest level achievable.
I am pretty technical minded, so I have studied a lot about the mechanics of the swing. My feeling is if you hit a bad shot there is a reason for it. I do however understand that tempo and rhythm tie it all together. I also pay attention to golf course management, and believe this aspect of the game helps you get all you can out of your game.
I developed this blog to stay busy in my spare time. It also helps me stay close to golf. My goal is to provide solid fundamental content that is practical and can readily be used. It is my hope that the reader will get value from this blog.
I encourage you to leave comments on the posts you read and let me know what you think. I want them and value others opinions. Until then I hope you stay in the short grass.
